The art gallery currently have a number of Stacey's paintings on display in their Manchester exhibition. They are incredible, so life like it is as if the people have just been taken and shrunk down! He mainly paints old people and certainly in the paintings on display there is a sad narrative, of lives lived and poverty.
You really have to see these paintings to appreciate how accurate and moving they are!
